One of my favorite pictures! Often I wrote about my mother loving to tell about her trips her family made when she was just a child. Well, let me tell you that the 1931 Buick will be a lifelong memory for me. I was quite touched when I found in my mother’s papers an old newspaper clip of La Presse, dated 1998, praising the 1931 Buick model. That famous Chicago trip for the 1934 Century of Progress Exposition was certainly not the last one made in that car. They are so funny with their sunglasses, looking like Al Capone’s gangsters!
