A shoemaker by trade, he married Martine Cronier on November 18, 1669, in Château-Richer. We do not know when he died but it is for sure after August 20, 1716.

Fichier Origine team gathered quite a lot of information on Philippe and his family. First of all, his baptismal record dated October 15, 1637, at Notre-Dame parish in Montreuil-sur-Mer, Pas-de-Calais department, and then, that of his father, Adam, dated August 14, 1600, also in Montreuil where Adam was buried on November 2, 1644. Moreover, we learn that at the time of his death, Adam, who was a gunsmith, resided with his family on Rue du Pot d’Estain. Finally, his baptismal record shows the name of Philippe’s grandparents, Antoine Destroismaisons and Jehanne Larcher.

I’m telling you, a fantastic Tour de France is in the making!

The Destroismaisons family whose “dit name” was Picard is from the paternal line of my great-great-grandmother Esther Laurendeau.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[453,291,4

post-4976","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-challenge-a-to-z-2021","category-french-challenge-a-to-z","category-genealogy
["GET
