The Acadia World Congress or Le Congrès mondial acadien (CMA)—founded by André Boudreau in 1994—is a festival held every five years that brings Acadians of the diaspora together to celebrate their culture and history.

The program includes concerts, conferences on various topics such as economics, culture, and, of course, genealogy.

For two weeks, participants are welcomed in a region of former Acadia, with some special events happening in remote places like Québec and Maine. The 1999 edition was notably held in Louisiana.

In 2024, the 7th CMA will be hosted by Nova Scotia southwestern Acadian regions.
