David Perry (whose surname is Paré in Québec) is listed in the 1850 US Census for Ferrisburgh. He is referred to as David Perry on Page 302 (stamped-left page), Line 36, Household 126, with the following persons listed, respectively, on lines 37 to 40:

Melia is David’s wife, Émilie Legros dit St-Pierre, and the others are their children, Roselia (born in Canada), and Louisa and Mary born in Vermont. David’s brother, Jean-Baptiste, was also living in Ferrisburgh in 1850 (household no. 244).

David died in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on December 16, 1890. His funeral notice indicates the following:

The funeral of David Perry was attended at his late residence on Mechanic street at 8.30 a m, to-day. Rev Frank Rector conducted the service which consisted of Scripture reading, prayer and remarks. A delegation from Mt Roulstone and Apollo Lodges, I O O F, attended, and the bearers were chosen from their number.
